The council delegation of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF) led by Yu Qun, Party group member and Vice-chairman, visited Zhongshan on June 21 for an inspection.

Chen Xudong, Secretary of the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee, met with the delegation. According to Chen, at present, Zhongshan has been actively promoting the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, deeply tapping and carrying forward the Sun Yat-sen culture resources, and building the Sun Yat-sen Culture International Exchange Center, in order to build a humanistic Greater Bay Area with Hong Kong and Macao. "We hope CSCLF will offer more support and guidance to Zhongshan, promote exchanges between the two sides, and strengthen cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in various sectors and at all levels to contribute to the Greater Bay Area construction," Chen said.

Yu Qun said CSCLF will exert its dual attributes of a mass organization and a charitable institution to promote cooperation with Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in such fields as culture, education and public welfare and create more opportunities and a better environment for youths from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in development and exchange.

Founded in May 1982, CSCLF has done an outstanding job in promoting international friendship, cross-straits exchanges and healthy development of youths for more than 30 years, sending a positive message at home and abroad.
