June 26 marked the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. A campaign against drugs under the theme "Healthy and Green Life away from Drugs" was organized on June 24 in Yuanyang School in East District.

"Sunshine Home",  an anti-drug experience education base for the youths, was inaugurated on the same day. The base will resort to experiential teaching, such as the identification of drug types, KTV simulation, and court trial simulation, to help students understand the dangers and preventive measures against drugs.

A group of schools were also conferred the title of "Anti-Drugs Demonstration School".
