The 2019 Zhongshan Family Doctor Service Team Core Member Training Session was held on June 26 in Henglan Community Healthcare Center.

This was the fourth session of the family doctor service team core member training. Many experts from Zhongshan and other cities throughout Guangdong gathered together to give lectures.

It is reported that family doctor service have been available to Zhongshan residents for four years. By the end of Q1 in 2019, a total of 476 family doctor service teams have been established and about 1.112 million permanent residents have signed up for the service. This includes 391 thousand of the high-risk population (the elderly,  pregnant women, and children under 6 years old, etc.).

On June 26, the family doctor registration and management information system was officially placed into service. The system aims to facilitate the interactions between family doctors and residents, promote the information management of family doctor service, and bring better services to residents.
