June 26 marked the 32nd International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. This year's anti-drug publicity campaign is themed "Healthy Life, Green Drug Control".

This past Wednesday, Zhongshan held the "Anti-Drugger"- My Anti-Drug Story Sharing Session in the auditorium of the second office area of the Zhongshan Public Security Bureau. Six drug fighters shared their anti-drug experiences with more than 700 invited citizens.

Among them, Cheng Xinzhi, Director of the Zhongshan City Narcotics Control Association, shared his experiences on drug enforcement and voluntary anti-drug services over the years under the topic of "Original Aspiration". He called on everyone to actively participate in anti-drug work.

The first Zhongshan Anti-Drug Public Service Advertising Competition was launched after the sharing session.

In 2018, police detectives from Zhongshan cracked a total of 772 drug cases. Officials investigated and dealt with 4,215 drug addicts, while seizing 68.7kg of various drugs. (from Zhongshan Daily and Southern Metropolis Daily)
