According to Zhongshan Transportation Development Group, the Shaxi interchange on South Second Ring Road has currently reached its completion, with the debugging of traffic lights and street lights underway.

The Shaxi interchange is scheduled to be open to traffic this week. It connects Fenghuang Road with Gongye Avenue and greatly facilitates the traveling of residents in both Shaxi and Dachong towns.

It is worth noting that the old ramps from Kangle South Road to the expressway will be closed. Since then, all vehicles shall enter and exit the expressway via the Shaxi interchange.

Fenghuang Road which is connected to the Shaxi interchange will simultaneously come into trial operation. It helps shorten the traveling time from Dachong to the Shaxi entrance of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Expressway to 5 minutes from previous 20.

The 1.8-km Fenghuang Road, which links the Longxing Industrial Park in Shaxi Town and the Kuilang Industrial Park in Dachong Town, also serves as a supporting traffic route connecting the Guangzhou-Zhuhai West Expressway, South Outer Ring and Shiqi District.
