The 2019 Lingnan Study Tour for Excellent Youth Students from Guangdong and Taiwan was co-sponsored on June 28 in Zhongshan by Sun Yat-sen Foundation and Dongguan Taiwanese Business Yumiao Education Foundation and attended by 123 teachers and students from Guangdong and Taiwan.

The activity will last until July 3, during which teachers and students will visit the Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen, the "Tides from the Pearl River - 40th Anniversary Exhibition for the Reform and Opening-Up of Guangdong" in Shenzhen Reform and Opening-Up Exhibition Hall, Dongguan Songshan Lake National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone, Sun Yat-sen University, and etc. The 2019 Guangdong & Taiwan Youth Forum will also be held during the activity.

As a platform for friendly exchanges and interactive interconnections recognized by students of both places, Lingnan Study Tour was held for 10 consecutive sessions, which has not only become a brand project, but also promoted discussions and cooperation between students and youths in Guangdong and Taiwan. Moreover, it has explored new opportunities for development in the context of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area construction.
