The annual computer aided allocation for junior middle schools was held at the Zhongshan Education and Sports Bureau on July 3. A total of 18,751 local students signed up for the allocation this year, an increase of 1,929 from last year.
This year, the municipal junior middle school vacancies declined to 1,905 from 2,071 in 2018. The allocation rates of the urban area group and township group were 24% and 5% respectively.
After the event, the Zhongshan Education and Sports Bureau passed the results to the municipal junior middle schools. For the students who failed to be allocated this time, they will be enrolled in other public schools under the arrangement of township- and district-level education departments (or education affairs centers).
Municipal junior middle schools will enroll students according to the allocation results, and admission letters will be sent out from July 5 to 7.
