As students start their summer holiday, Zhongshan Port witnesses an increasing quantity of travelers.

Last weekend, Zhongshan Port saw nearly 5,000 inbound and outbound travelers in two days. The average daily number of travelers rose slightly comparing with ordinary days. Zhongshan immigration inspection department predicts the quantity of travelers will gradually rise from this week.

"Summer travel rush" usually comes to Zhongshan Port in July and August every year. This year, Zhongshan Port is estimated to handle over 200,000 inbound and outbound travelers during this period.

Zhongshan immigration inspection department reminds that the outbound peak will appear from 8am to 11am every day, while the inbound peak will appear from 5pm to 10pm every day. Travelers are suggested to reasonably plan their trip to avoid travel peaks.
