Zhongshan Foreign Affairs Bureau will handle the application for the certificates of next year's National College Entrance Examination (NCEE) for overseas Chinese students from August 15 to September 30.
Overseas Chinese students include returned overseas Chinese students, children of returned overseas Chinese and children of overseas Chinese residing in China. The examinees or their parents (father or mother), whose household registrations are in Guangdong, can apply in Guangdong.
The application requirements and procedures are the same as thos in previous years:
Returned Chinese students are required to provide the originals and copies of their ID cards and residence booklets, as well as their certificates of residence in China.
Children of returned overseas Chinese are required to provide the originals and copies of their and their parents' ID cards and residence booklets, the documents for their parents' settlement in China, as well as the originals and copies of the documents proving the relationship between them and their parents.
Children of overseas Chinese residing in China are required to provide the originals and copies of identification document of overseas Chinese, their personal ID cards and residence booklets, as well as the document of certification of the relationship between them and overseas Chinese.
If returned overseas Chinese or overseas Chinese pass away, the copy of death certificate is also required.
The adopted children of returned overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese (the relationship of support is over 5 years) are required to provide the adoption certificates issued by the civil affairs departments above county level.
After the documents are verified, the certificates shall be issued within 30 days from September 30. Students can access the name list on www.qb.gd.gov.cn and the list will be posted on eea.gd.gov.cn.
