On July 16, an activity themed "I Love My Country, and I Love the Ocean" was held in Zhongshan. Over 40 journalists from central and provincial media such as people.cn, xinhuanet.com, cnr.cn, China.com.cn and gmw.cn focused on area achievements regarding high-end new energy equipment and marine engineering equipment.

The media group looked at the R&D and market operations of large wind turbines, wind power plants, photovoltaic power stations, steel-structure bridge equipment, marine engineering equipment, and port engineering machinery. The group engaged in in-depth discussions with management representatives from the manufacturing workshops of Mingyang Smart Energy Group Co Ltd and China Railway South Engineering Equipment Co Ltd.

As reported, the theme activity is now running simultaneously through mid-July in Guangdong and Shandong provinces. This marvelous activity aims to highlight China's great achievements in building its marine power. The event coincides with the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China. It presents the efforts put into the care, knowledge, and planning of marine affairs as well as practicing the Belt and Road Initiative in the area of marine development.

Zhongshan is the 2nd stop for this activity following Guangzhou. The media group will also visit Jiangmen and Yangjiang next.
