The final large-scale public benefit recruitment fair for this year's graduates was held on July 20 at Zhongshan Sports Center.

More than 200 well-known enterprises in Zhongshan, including Perfect, Mentholatum, Mingyang Smart Energy, Wistron and SF Express, offered about 4,700 jobs at the fair. Over 5,600 job seekers were attracted, 983 of which have reached preliminary employment intention with employers.

The job fair set up multiple special recruitment areas for comprehensive manufacture, new energy, advanced intelligent manufacture, furniture, biological pharmacy, modern service, hardware and other areas, covering such industries as electronics, garment, machinery, property management, finance and engineering. Participating companies have provided salary of over 3,000 yuan per month for most jobs, 15,000 yuan per month the highest.

It is reported that Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (ZSHRSS) will follow up the unemployed graduates and provide them with employment service after they leave the colleges.

According to ZSHRSS, about 30,000 college graduates seek jobs in Zhongshan this year. By the end of June, an average of 88.42% of this year's graduates of the five colleges and universities in Zhongshan have been employed (or reached employment intention).
