Starting August 1, the Zhongshan Public Transportation Group opens 3 peak-hour routes for Bus No.022, No.991 and No.993. These new routes will provide extra convenience to those who travel by bus during morning and evening rush hours. The 3 peak-hour routes are numbered G022, G991, and G993.

"The 3 peak-hour bus routes will not stop at every bus stop set on the original route, and the running time will be different," said the Public Transportation Group representative. He went on to express that G022, G991, and G993 will only operate on weekdays, only stop at bus stops with dense crowds, and the running time will be further optimized.

For example, the regular Bus No.991 stops at 20 bus stops, while G991 will only stop at 10 main ones. Likewise, the regular No.993 stops at 30 bus stops, while G993 will only stop at 11 of them. This noticeably shortens the commuting time for passengers.
