The Guangdong 21st Century Maritime Silk Road International Expo 2019 (MSRE) and the 27th Guangzhou Fair will be held at China Import and Export Fair Complex from August 23 through August 26.

The MSRE will hold its first Guangdong Poverty Alleviation Exhibition to show the province's staged achievements of targeted poverty alleviation, counterpart support in eastern and western China, and partner assistance. The end goal is to help those assisted areas in expanding their overseas markets.

The exhibition covers an area of more than 10,000 square meters. A total of 21 cities and regions province-wide, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Zhongshan, will jointly demonstrates Guangdong's poverty alleviation system with texts, pictures and material objects.

Zhongshan will display its poverty reduction achievements in Zhaotong of Yunnan Province, Gongbo'gyamda of Nyingchi City, Tibet, and etc. Zhongshan will also present and promote featured products, tourism resources and industrial cooperation achievements in these areas.
