Zhongshan Bureau of Transport recently issued the first ticket of off-site enforcement under satellite positioning supervision to a local transportation company. It marks a major breakthrough of Zhongshan in dynamic off-site enforcement on road transport vehicles.
The company manager admitted their illegal act of not transmitting real-time data of one of their vehicles with satellite positioning travelling data recorder in accordance with regulations and paid a fine of 1,000 yuan.
"Acts of not uploading data in real time with satellite positioning device shall be fined 1,000 yuan for the first time, and 3,000 yuan for the following," said an official of Zhongshan Bureau of Transport.
A year-on-year decrease of 70% in illegal acts of not uploading real-time data with satellite positioning device is seen since the off-site traffic enforcement under satellite positioning supervision took effect on August 1.
