The Hongqili Grand Bridge of Nansha Port Railway is a steel truss flexible arch bridge with the largest span in China at the moment and is expected to be completed in 2020.

"The closure of the Hongqili Grand Bridge has raised the maximum span of the domestic steel truss flexible arch bridge to 360 meters," said Deng Pengyu, General Manager of Guangzhou Engineering Company Limited of China Railway Sixth Group.

According to Deng Pengyu, the Hongqili Grand Bridge of Nansha Port Railway has a navigable clear height of 24 meters and a channel width of 300 meters.
