The darts competition, which is the first event of the 8th Zhongshan Games for the Disabled, kicked off on August 26 at the Guangdong Game & Amusement Culture Industry City. It marked the start of the 8th Zhongshan Games for the Disabled.

The 8th Zhongshan Games for the Disabled features 9 events, including track and field, swimming, table tennis, badminton, darts, chess, cycling, three-man basketball and tug-of-war. It will run from August 26 to 29, with more than 420 athletes from across the city participating.

The darts competition is the first event and also a new event included in the Games. A total of 94 disabled athletes will compete in the two-day competition.

The swimming and three-person basketball competitions both concluded on August 26.
