September 10 was the thirty-fifth Teachers' Day. Primary and middle schools in Zhongshan carried out various festive activities to mark the day.

Tuesday's Teachers' Day celebration ceremony at the Zhongshan Yang Xian Yi Middle School commended all of its outstanding teachers. Headmaster Li Zike also led the new teachers to read the Teachers' Oath.

Tiecheng Primary School invited four generations of teachers from the post-60s to the post-90s to share their stories. Among them, Hou Jie, the representative of the post-60s teachers and the Headmaster of Tiecheng Primary School, shared her graduation photos taken at her graduation from normal school. The farewell messages given to her by her teachers, photos of herself with students from her first class in Zhongshan, greeting cards and wishes given to her by her students, photos of the students' reunion from the past 30 years, and many others were shared by Hou.

Zhongshan Shiqi Central Primary School held their own special activities to celebrate Teachers' Day. After commending a number of outstanding teachers, students gave performances to show a great working spirit between the teachers and students.

On Monday morning, September 9, after the flag raising ceremony, more than 90 teachers of the Guanghou Central Primary School in Sanxiang Town danced under the national flag with the song "My Motherland and Me". All the students also sang "Dear Teacher" and sent holiday wishes to teachers in the end.
