Warton Economic Institute recently released the "2019 China's Top 100 Cities " report in Shanghai.
According to the report, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen remain in the top four positions, followed by Hangzhou, Suzhou, Chengdu, Tianjin, Wuhan and Nanjing.
Zhongshan ranks 55th on the list, with a comprehensive score of 39.37.
It is reported that "China's Top 100 Cities" are selected according to their GDP rankings, and then sorted according to the overall score of their economic indicators (accounting for 61.8%) and soft-economic indicators (accounting for 38.2%) . Economic indicators are composed of GDP, household savings and fiscal revenue, while soft-economic indicators are composed of environment, science and education, culture and health.
The meeting also released the top 10 cities lists respectively in household savings, public revenue, consumption capacity, wage level, and fixed asset investment.
