The Zhongshan public security system announced and commended 10 "Most Beautiful Grass-roots Police Officers" and 20 "Most Beautiful Grass-roots Auxiliary Police Officers" on September 29.

Zhou Lvyan, a police officer at the Shiqi District Public Security Sub-Bureau, who sticks to her post as a criminal investigation police officer for over 20 years, was among the "Most Beautiful Grass-roots Police Officers". 

Hao Yanfeng, former police officer of the West District Public Security Sub-Bureau who was the first in Guangdong to use the video structure application, was also among the "Most Beautiful Grass-roots Police Officers". He was honored as "the pioneer of intellectual investigation", as he summarized a new investigation mode that provides valuable practical experience for the municipal and provincial public security departments in the model selection and application of video structure. 

The 20 "Most Beautiful Grass-roots Auxiliary Police Officers", although they are not official police, shoulder the same glorious mission, guarding to make a place safe with their sweat and blood. Among them, Zhong Hui, an auxiliary police officer at the Tanzhou Public Security Sub-Bureau Yongqian police station, has assisted the police in investigating and dealing with more than 50 administrative cases and solving above 10 criminal cases.
