The main overpass of the Bo'ai Road-Cuijing Avenue interchange was open to traffic both directions on October 8

Bo'ai Road is the major east-west transportation route leading into and out of Zhongshan. With the opening of the tunnel under Bo'ai Road-Yintong Street and the main upper span of the Bo'ai Road-Cuijing Avenue overpass, this major east-west transportation route becomes more convenient for commuters and other travellers. 

At present, this section of the Bo'ai Road-Cuijing Avenue overpass is still under construction, so two lanes have been temporarily opened. In addition, the north-south overpass is tentatively scheduled to be open by the end of this month. 

The Bo'ai Road-Cuijing Avenue upper span is currently in its trial phase with a speed limit of only 30 km/h. Construction staff informed us that the sidewalk, landscaping, and signage would be improved in the near future.
