The Zhongshan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau (ZSHRSSB) on October 9 announced the 2019 income benchmark report for jobs categories (types of work). Also announced was the 2018 labor cost information for certain industries.

The report was compiled by the ZSHRSSB jointly with human resources consulting firm CIIC from May to August of this year. Officials surveyed 613 enterprises and obtained and analyzed the actual income data of some 151,000 employees.

Among the 34 industries and 482 jobs categories (types of work) included in the guide, there are 8 industries and 113 types of work with a maximum monthly salary guideline price above 10,000 yuan.

The 8 industries are finance and insurance, computer application services, information and consulting services, real estate, culture and art, health, construction and private education. Among them, the finance and insurance industry rank first with an industry income benchmark of 22,733 yuan per month.

In terms of the wage guideline price among certain jobs, "enterprise director" ranks first with 48,927 yuan per month, and the annual salary for this position can reach 587,000 yuan.

This report also analyzes the level and composition of labor costs per capita in some industries according to the size of enterprises and economic types.

Data shows that the labor cost of Zhongshan's financial industry is the highest, the high labor cost per capita is 289,000 yuan per year, and the low cost is 71,000 yuan per year. Additionally, rental and business services have the lowest labor costs, with a high labor cost per capita of 100,000 yuan per year and a low cost of 43,000 yuan per year.
