The latest Chinese Chess Competition Rules approved by the Chinese Chess Association was adopted for this competition, which is divided into men's and women's individual events. Athletes will be ranked according to their scores, with the highest being the champions.

In addition, the top eight teams by scores will be determined by totaling the scores of the top eight male and female athletes in each participating township, with the highest scores ranking first.
