The Zhongshan Autumn Agro-technology Event, along with the 2019 Harvest Festival Exchange Meeting, was held in the Yikang Elderly Service Center in Torch Development Zone on October 11, with emphasis laid on modern agricultural facilities, consumption products for poverty alleviation, and famous and high-quality agricultural products.

At the event, a hiring ceremony of Huameng Doctor Workstation in Torch Development Zone was held. Certificates were also issued to agricultural entities in the district that received awards of the provincial level and above.

Six doctors were hired by the workstation, including Lin Qingsheng, a pest prevention and control expert, Gao Yan, an expert in water and fertilizer integration, She Xiaoman, a plant disease prevention and control expert, Song Ziwei, a biological control expert, Pang Yuwan, an expert in soil and fertilizer formula, and Zhang Yan, a fruit and vegetable screening expert.

They will come to Zhongshan from time to time to provide services on scientific and technological consultation and achievement transformation to Zhongshan.
