The 2nd China National Furniture Carving Vocational Skills Competition (Zhongshan Division) kicked off in the Chinese Rosewood Culture Expo City in Dachong, Zhongshan on October 14. [Photo by Li Xusheng] 

This Competition consists of 7 divisions. In Zhongshan Division, 63 contestants from professional and college groups will compete in theory test and skills competition. The best 10% of them can take part in the national finals in late October. 

The trial will last for 3 days. In addition, the top 10 contestants in Zhongshan, Nanhai and Xinhui divisions will compete later. The best 3 will be awarded the honorary title of "Provincial Technical Expert" by the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province.
