A total of 30 companies were awarded the "Guzhen Origin of Lighting" product logo on October 22 at the opening ceremony of the 24th China (Guzhen) International Light Fair. They were the second group of companies that obtained the marks issued by the Guzhen township government since 2018. 

Last year, the Guzhen governmental formulated the group standard and started to promote the collective brand of "Guzhen Origin of Lighting". After a year of revision, the "Group Standard for the Appraisal of High-quality Lighting Products of Guzhen" finally took effect in recent days. The standard has officially become one of the group standards of the National Technical Standards Innovation Base (South China Center).

The standard defines "High-quality Lighting Products" produced in Guzhen. Specifically, the logo denotes Guzhen Town lighting products that integrate technology, service, reputation, and which upholds the requirements of high overall quality and technical indicators. The standard stipulates the requirements and evaluation of the enterprise foundation and quality assurance capability for the production of "high-quality lighting products". 

The valid period of the "High-quality Lighting Products Produced in Guzhen" is three years. In case of serious violation of laws and regulations or breach of trust, the title of a company may be suspended or revoked; this may apply to its logo and certificate as well. Any revocations will be made known to the public. 

The lighting industry of Zhongshan is centered in Guzhen Town, China's lighting capital. It covers 11 towns and districts in 3 cities, with an annual output value of nearly 100 billion yuan. The products are exported to more than 130 countries and regions all over the world. It is the most important export production base and trade distribution center of lighting products in China.
