China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom officially released their 5G packages on October 31. The latest data reveal that the three operators have a total of more than 10 million 5G subscribers across the country.

That same day, Miss Li, who lives in East District, completed her 5G subscription and became the first 5G user of China Telecom in Zhongshan. "It's really fast," she said, as she turned on her cell phone with the 5G network.

China Telecom Zhongshan Branch held a press conference in that morning to launch the 5G package. Zhongshan West District Hospital, Homa Appliances, Guangdong ZiFiSense and Tianrun Logistics became the first 5G strategic partners of China Telecom Zhongshan Branch.

According to Hu Rongzhen, marketing manager of China Telecom Zhongshan Branch, at present, the company has achieved 5G signal coverage in such core areas as Zhongshan Expo Center, Zhongshan Stadium, Zhongshan Public Security Bureau, Lihe Plaza and surrounding areas of China Telecom business offices in Zhongshan. The company has also made significant breakthroughs in the field of live streaming, intelligent police affairs, intelligent manufacturing, telemedicine and other scenarios.
