According to Alibaba data, Zhongshan ranked 5th on the list of hot shopping cities in Guangdong. The top 5 cities were Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan and Zhongshan.

The top 5 popular commodities in Guangdong were mobile phones, pants, facial care sets, air conditioners and facial essences.

A total of 6 of the top 10 Alibaba's Juhuasuan Industrial Belts are from Guangdong, including Guangzhou women's clothing, Foshan sofa, Foshan bed, Shenzhen lighting, Zhongshan lighting and Foshan table industrial belts.

Some 148 brands are on the 2-hour "100-million-yuan clubs" list announced by Alibaba. Zhongshan's Vatti, Zhongshun Group, as well as NVC, Opple and other brands relying on the Guzhen lighting industrial belt made the list.
