Adjacent to the Panzhong Highway, the brand-new Aquatic Product Transit and Wholesale Center of Minzhong stands in front of us. This first docking platform for aquatic products production and marketing in the northeastern part of Zhongshan, built by the Minzhong Fisheries Association, is expected to open after the next Spring Festival.

The center covers an area of about 20,000 square meters, and will contain a total of 140 booths. It will be developed in three phases. A number of booths near the entrance have already been reserved for a local brand aquaculture distributor.

Up to now, a variety of producers and manufacturers have signed agreements or made cooperation intentions with the center. These companies do business in the four major Chinese carps, snakehead fish, crisped grass carp, Australian freshwater crayfish, Roche shrimp, and other freshwater species.

In addition, the center uses the Internet of Things system to simultaneously establish a traceable quality and safety system.
