City's housing rent survey report for 2019 released

The 2019 Zhongshan Housing Rent Survey Report was recently released.

From 2017 to 2018, the overall housing rent in Zhongshan saw significant increase owing to the construction of Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Increase in housing rent gradually stabilized in 2019.

This report shows that the average rent of apartments without elevators in Zhongshan is about 15 yuan/㎡/month, the average rent of apartments with elevators is about 23.3 yuan//month, the average commercial estate rent is about 46.4 yuan//month, the average office rent is about 47.8 yuan//month, and the average industrial estate rent is about 10.25 yuan//month.

In terms of apartments with elevators, East District has the highest average rent, with about 26.9 yuan//month. The rent of Lihe International Apartment in particular is relatively high, reaching 30 yuan//month.

In terms of commercial estate, the rent in the central area is relatively high. East District has the highest average commercial rent, owing to the newly-built commercial complexes and office buildings, increased traffic and stronger commercial atmosphere. Guzhen Town has the highest average commercial estate rent among the townships.

As Zhongshan's administrative center, East District has the highest rent for office space, exceeding 50 yuan//month. In terms of industrial occupancy, rents are relatively high in the western and northern parts of Zhongshan.
