Alibaba's online auction anchors and court staff members Wang Nian, Li Mian and Wu Juanhuan held a house auction webcast at Zhongshan First People's Court's online judicial auction studio on December 10. Here they answered questions for netizens who have shown an interest in participating in the online judicial auction.

In order to help netizens know more about the specific process and matters needing attention of the online auction, four anchors took turns introducing products and relevant legal knowledge and answering questions. In just one morning, a total of 4,830 netizens watched the live judicial house auction.

One of the auction anchors told Zhongshan Daily that the online judicial auction will display the auction items and make all the links for participating in the auction registration, bidding process and transaction public on the Internet to maximize the interest of the parties involved in its implementation.

It is reported that on December 23, 2013, Zhongshan First People's Court took the lead in Guangdong in launching the judicial auction platform on Taobao.com.The platform has successively opened a series of convenient services such as telephone consultation, on-site consultation, and VR panoramic house inspection. In 2018, following Taobao, teams of JD.com and Poly Group also entered Zhongshan First People's Court to provide whole-process auction service.

In 2018 alone, Zhongshan First People's Court auctioned 1,800 items, 10 times of items sold in 2013, with a transaction value of 2.644 billion yuan.
