Zhongshan provisionally bans all group dining
Updated: 2020-02-07    Source: Zhongshan Daily Large Medium Small Print

Zhongshan Administration for Market Regulation on February 4 issued a public announcement on the relevant business activities of restaurants.

The announcement mentioned with immediate effect that all restaurants in Zhongshan (including breakfast shops, beverage shops, etc) should voluntarily suspend dine-in service at the halls and tea houses.

Each restaurant can provide meals for individual guests using private rooms (without table-sharing), and can provide take-out services such as costumer pick-up, on-line food ordering, or telephone food ordering.

In addition, group dining (self-organized banquets) is prohibited, and restaurants or individuals are prohibited from undertaking or providing group dining services.

The normal business activities will be suspended until further notice. For complaints and reports of banquet dining, please call 12315.
