Around 7 pm on March 2, the smiling faces of 42 Zhongshan medical staff working at the Hubei epidemic forefront appeared on LED screens on Zhongshan's major business districts and landmark buildings.

Recently, a reporter from Southern Metropolis Daily took a group of photos of Zhongshan medical staff smiling when they took off masks. The faces of the medical staff were covered with the indentations of goggles and masks, marking their contributions in the war against the epidemic.

The Southern Metropolis Daily and the Publicity Department of Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee jointly planned and timely launched an activity to pay tribute to Zhongshan's most beautiful "heroes in harm's way" with the theme of "Missing Home - Sit around the Stove and Enjoy the Warmth". This group of photos displayed on more than 200 LED screens of Dasin Metro-Malls, Lihe Square Shopping Centers, PE Mall and other business districts, covering the main business districts in Zhongshan city and more than 20 townships such as Xiaolan, Guzhen, Fusha and Dongfeng (Tanbei).

Miss Xiang, a resident of Zhongshan, said that despite the mask indents, medical staff's reassuring smiles spoke for their confidence. "We now understand their real conditions, and their smiling faces are a heartwarming comfort to us during the epidemic period."
