On the morning of March 9, Sun Yat-sen Foundation donated 3 million yuan to the Zhongshan Branch Red Cross Society of China for the construction of the testing center of Zhongshan Second Peoples Hospital, so as to further improve Zhongshan's medical research and treatment level.

Tang Bingquan, former executive vice governor of Guangdong and chairman of the Sun Yat-sen Foundation, sent a letter of regards to the medical workers of Zhongshan Second People's Hospital and all medical workers in Zhongshan who were fighting in the frontlines of the epidemic.

At the donation ceremony, Qiu Yongjun, director of Zhongshan Second People's Hospital, introduced the current situation and treatment progress of the hospital in fighting against COVID-19, and thanked all sectors of society for their concern for medical workers.
