On March 18, the COVID-19 Intensive Care Center of Guangdong Medical Team based in Jingzhou Central Hospital was shut down. Some members of Zhongshan medical team who were working here completed their last shift and walked out of the quarantine area.

From February 12 to March 18, the first group of the Zhongshan medical team that arrived in Jingzhou combated the virus for 36 days. After a short break, the team members will leave for home on the afternoon of March 20.

There are 42 members on Zhongshan's medical team in Jingzhou. They have been dispatched to several COVID-19 Intensive Care Centers such as Jingzhou Central Hospital, Songzi People's Hospital and Gong'an County People's Hospital.

Jingzhou Central Hospital is one of the important treatment centers of the Guangdong Medical Team, and ECMO team from ZSPH mainly worked here. As the confirmed and suspected cases of COVID-19 in Songzi People's Hospital were both cleared, Zhou Hongmei and other 7 members of the medical team were moved here.
