Students from 102 schools in Zhongshan will return to school on April 27, Monday. Among them, there are 93 junior high schools and 19 senior high schools, with first batch of 10,820 teaching staff and 52,044 students returning to school.

In order to check the schooling resumption preparation of schools, on April 21, the Zhongshan Education and Sports Bureau, Zhongshan Health Bureau, and the Zhongshan Administration for Market Regulation formed 10 work teams to conduct detailed inspections of the preparation by each school for schooling resumption.

In Guangdong Bowen International School, the work team inspected the school's infirmary, canteen, student dormitory, and classrooms to gain a thorough understanding of the school's preparation in terms of organization, management, and epidemic prevention materials.

Guangdong Bowen International School has designated a "buffer zone" for parents to pick up and drop off students at the school gate and set up a temperature detection entrance. In order to welcome the graduating classes back to school, the school temporarily requisitioned dormitories for other grades and transformed the 8-person dormitories into 4-person dormitories. The school will implement "small class teaching" and split the original class of more than 40 people into two classes. Teachers will be in charge of students' food, housing, and transportation matters during their stay at school.
