In order to eliminate as much as possible the adverse impact of this year's COVID-19 epidemic, Zhongshan plans to invest more than 58 million yuan to step up efforts to promote the construction of Tibet-aiding projects in 2020.

These projects focus on ensuring people's livelihood, developing the Tibetan swine industry and high-quality tourism, and improving the construction of basic education facilities in villages and towns. These projects effectively promote the economic development of assistance recipient areas, pulling farmers and herdsmen out of poverty and ushering them into prosperity.

This year, the Zhongshan Tibet Assistance Working Group will implement a total of 13 sub-projects in 7 major categories. Among them, the General Plan and Regulatory Plan Preparation Project of Zhula River National Wetland Park has already proceeded to the preparation stage.
