On May 11, the second batch of students in Zhongshan city returned to school. There was a total of 112,000 first and second year students from high school and middle school and nearly 10,000 faculty members. Currently, the number of students that have returned to school in the first two batches is 164,000.

Many schools said that students still have to wear masks and to provide their Yue Kang Codes (green code) when returning to school. At the same time, 3rd year students from junior and senior high schools do not need to have lessons in small batches or separate their dormitory beds anymore .

After the second batch of students returned to school, the setup of classrooms and dormitories were restored to their original positions. However, outdoor activities and dining will continue with a scattered seating pattern and be conducted in different intervals.

The schools have organized relevant departments and personnel to carry out educational drills before students return to school.
