On May 18, the third batch of students in Zhongshan returned to school. This batch of students include students from secondary vocational schools, secondary technical schools and primary schools (grade 4 to grade 6), totaling 169,000 students.
In order to welcome the children returning to school, many primary schools have carefully arranged their schoolyards. In addition to necessary epidemic prevention and control measures, many schools have also prepared welcoming gifts.
About 1,000 students returned to school on the same day at Langqing Primary School in East District, and welcome banners were hung in front of the teaching buildings. After taking students' temperatures, every pupil entering the school received a welcoming gift from the headmaster: beautiful blue or pink bags containing stress balls, lollipops, smiley face badges, bookmarks, and small cards writing "Welcome back to school".
Each school has formulated detailed procedures to guide students to restart school life. The "first lesson" in many schools is to introduce epidemic prevention knowledge to students.
Students of secondary vocational schools and technical schools also returned to school on that day. Except for some Zhongshan native students, most of these students live in on-campus housing, some other students are from the Yunnan Zhaotong Class.
