On May 23 and 24, the County Committee of the Yongshan Communist Youth League, Zhongshan Yili Lvkang Agricultural Development Co Ltd and Yongshan Youwo Agricultural Co Ltd jointly held a live streaming event to sell Yongshan loquats to Zhongshan Xiaolan citizens. The live streaming was very popular, and more than 5,000 kilograms of Yongshan loquats were sold in just one day.

"This year, the market slumped due to the epidemic situation. Enterprises of Zhongshan Xiaolan town came to our households in groups and helped us sell loquats through live streaming, broadening our sales channels and increasing our income." Zheng Lianjiang, a villager in Yusun village said gratefully.

Yusun village of Xiluodu town, Yongshan county, is located in a valley with an altitude of 600 to 1,400 meters. The loquats produced here have thin skins, thick pulps, a honey-like taste and an excellent flavor.

Xiaolan group enterprises also plan to organize the reservation of Yongshan agricultural products such as grapes, wild apples and Gastrodia elata to further expand the market of local special farm products through consumption and poverty alleviation activities.
