Feng Jinyi, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Wuguishan District in Zhongshan, on June 18 received a letter of thanks from Isabel Weng, president of Costa Rica Overseas Chinese Association. Masks sent overseas from Wuguishan District a few months ago have recently been delivered to more than 1,500 overseas Chinese.

Since March this year, Wuguishan District Office has donated 333,900 disposable medical masks and 1,900 N95 masks to overseas Chinese, as well as a large number of epidemic prevention materials such as Lianhua Inflammation-Eliminating Capsules, protective clothing and goggles, providing assistance to overseas compatriots.

Isabel Weng remarked that what Wuguishan District sent was not only anti-epidemic materials, but also sincere care and love from the homeland, which gave overseas Chinese more courage to face the epidemic and strengthened their confidence in overcoming the outbreaks.
