The 7.45-kilometer Shagang Road fully opened to traffic on July 1.

Shagang Road has six two-way lanes on its main line and four two-way lanes on its auxiliary road, with 4 overpass bridges along the route. The designed speed limit is 80km/h for the main line, and all the traffic lights along the route will be canceled.

It took about 7 minutes to complete the entire the stretch at a driving speed of about 60km/h.

After Shagang Road is opened to traffic, it will directly connect urban areas via the Sanjiao Express Way, which greatly facilitates the mobility of citizens from Gangkou Town and Minzhong Town.
