"Beiyou 26", the first 70-meter and 1,200-seat luxury aluminum high-speed catamaran, was successfully delivered in Shenwan Town, Zhongshan on July 13. This passenger ship was built by Aulong Shipbuilding Technology Co Ltd, a joint venture brand of Jianglong Shipbuilding, which is a listed company in Zhongshan.

The ship has set a number of records for domestic luxury aluminum high-speed passenger ship, such as the largest size, the largest passenger capacity, highest speed among passenger ships with same capacity, and the highest wind resistance design level.

"Beiyou 26" has a total design length of 70.6 meters, a molded breadth of 17 meters, and a maximum speed of 34 knots (equivalent to 61.2 km/h).

The cabin of "Beiyou 26" has three floors. The first floor is tourist class, which is equipped with comfortable seats. Cabins on the second floor are equipped with luxury high-end massage chairs, and the third floor are armed with several VIP compartments. The ship is provided with not only baby care rooms and charging areas, but also high-end leather massage seats and pet rooms for the first time compared with similar domestic passenger ships.

The vessel will serve the sea tourism route of Weizhou Island in Guangxi's Beihai City.
