The 4th Zhongshan Forum for Cross Straits will open in Zhongshan City on July 17.

The forum will be held on site and online, with sub-venues in 21 Guangdong cities and Taiwan. More than 2,000 figures in political, business and academic sectors from both sides of the Taiwan Straits as well as from Hong Kong and Macao are invited. Because of COVID-19, some leaders and distinguished guests will deliver their speeches via video.

At the opening ceremony, Zhongshan People's Government will sign a cooperation framework agreement with the Association of Taiwan Investment Enterprises on the Mainland and issue the 2020 Guidelines for Guangdong Province's Policies and Measures to Benefit Taiwan.

The "Cross-Straits Youth Research Camp", "Zhongshan Cup" Slow Pitch Softball Invitational Tournament for Taiwan Enterprises in the Greater Bay Area, Sun Yat-sen Culture Historical Sites Tour and other activities will follow the ceremony.

During the forum, the "Integrating Taiwan Businessmen into the Greater Bay Area" theme activity and the "Sun Yat-sen Spirits and National Rejuvenation" seminar will be held simultaneously.
