"The Love of Greater Bay" TV show recently ushered in its finale on CCTV's comprehensive channel at prime time. On the afternoon of July 13, the China Television Arts Committee held a research and evaluation meeting on the play via video, and the present experts gave unanimous favorable comments.

"The Love of Greater Bay" is produced by a Zhongshan film and television company, of which more than half of the exterior scenes were shot in the city. The TV show is set in the major cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, telling an inspiring story about a group of young people rooted in the Greater Bay Area who realize personal growth along with the cities' development.

"The TV show received wide positive acclaims after its broadcast. It is popular because of its authenticity", said Wang Di, chief producer of the TV series and general manager of Zhongshan Jingping Film and Television Media Co Ltd. "In order to reproduce the joy of all sectors when Hong Kong and Macao returned to China, we interviewed many people from all walks of life who witnessed the returns and created scripts based on the details they told."

Xia Xiaohui, full-time deputy secretary of the Party organization of China Media Group's Film, Television and Documentary Center and TV Channel, believed that the show has made a clear expression of Lingnan culture, Macao traditional culture, and regional customs. It has shown the development course of the Greater Bay Area over the past years from multiple dimensions and levels.
