On July 15th, the 1st Vocational Skills Competition in Guangdong Province and the 46th World Skills Competition, "Candy Making/Pastries Projects" Qualification Trial for Guangdong Province opened in the North Campus of Zhongshan Technician College, and experts in candy-making and pastries competed for tickets to the national qualification trials of the World Skills Competition.

After 8 hours of intense production, 11 contestants from 6 cities in Guangdong presented their works to the judges.

Li Caiping, China's technical guidance expert for Candy Making/Pastries Projects of the World Skills Competition, said that in this competition, the contestants were required to complete in four categories including chocolate modeling, chocolate candy, almond paste molding, and birthday cake making within the specified time.
