To further improve residents' awareness, support and satisfaction for establishing a civilized and sanitary city, household advocacy volunteer team (aptly named "fireflies") in West District have been carrying out night-time household visits since the evening of July 17, and have now visited nearly 500 households.

When the volunteers come to the residents' homes, they enthusiastically sit with the residents to explain the purpose, significance and details of establishing a national civilized city. They also introduce handy services for the public such as volunteer service options within a 15 minute range in West District, and publicized civilization norms in dining, transportation, tourism and other aspects. They called on citizens to start with small actions around themselves, and follow civilized behaviors in daily life.

Aling, one of the volunteers, said: "The most common problems we've learned is littering from high-rise buildings, followed by uncivilized parking and uncivilized treatment of dogs. After the information is collected, it can serve as a reference for the West District Office and the Caihong Community to carry out further work."
