Some 97 young men from Xiaolan Town on the morning of August 4 came to the Torch Development Zone Hospital for conscript check-ups.

This year's autumn conscript check-ups started on August 1. Over 1,300 young candidates from all towns and districts and local universities in Zhongshan will go to Torch Development Zone Hospital in batches for their check-ups.

The check-up includes over 20 tests of blood pressure, vision, hearing and mental state. At present, the check-up work has been completed in Sanxiang Town, Dachong Town, Nanlang Town, Fusha Town and East District, with an acceptance rate of about 40%.
