The high-quality development seminar for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Zhongshan Torch High-tech Industrial Development Zone (TDZ) was held on August 13. Distinguished guests, experts and scholars from domestic political, business and academic circles were invited to make plans for TDZ's further development.

TDZ was founded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, People's Government of Guangdong Province and Zhongshan Municipal Government in 1990. In the past 30 years, it has been built from a desolate beach into a new high-tech industrial town filled with innovation, vitality, prosperity, human resources and beauty.

At the seminar, TDZ signed a contract with Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co Ltd. The two parties will carry out in-depth cooperation on new infrastructure, cloud computing, big data, integration of manufacturing and internet development, digital culture and innovation, new smart city technology, and government digitalization, so as to promote the landing of the new Tencent Wecity Solution, build an international digital culture and innovation-themed business hotspot, promote the construction of the ZOS-Park Innovation Center, and help Zhongshan's digital economy develop with high quality in all aspects and in many fields.
