After graduating from high school, he joined a fire brigade, and now he finally fulfills his university dream through two years of hard work.

Recently, Xiao Jing, a firefighter from Shaxi Fire and Rescue Station, together with 800 outstanding firefighters from all over the country, were admitted into the China Fire and Rescue Institute. They will soon receive 4 years of full-time academic education and professional training to improve their personal ability in fire rescue from both theoretical and practical aspects.

This year, two candidates in Zhongshan were admitted into the China Fire and Rescue Institute. The other is Yang Zixiong, a firefighter from Minsheng Fire Station.
