Three bottleneck roads were completed and opened to traffic in Zhongshan. The projects include Liuheng Road in Huangpu Town, Yunhan-Tongxing Road along with the riverside connecting road on the north side of Hanji Road in Shaxi Town, and Wanxiang Road in Sanxiang Town.

The spokesman of the Zhongshan Bureau of Housing and Urban-rural Development said that "opening bottleneck roads" was listed as the No.1 Proposal of the Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress this year. A total of 38 bottleneck roads will open to traffic in Zhongshan in next two years. At present, 3 roads are already completed, 23 have started construction, and the remaining 12 have all started preliminary work.
